69 Crossbrook Street, Cheshunt
Our first project as Nash Residential: the conversion and one-storey rooftop extension of the existing building, plus a new-build block of five two-bed flats at the rear.
The land was originally a car sales garage and yard, littered with old, broken-down vehicles. The existing semi-detached front building was in need of a serious makeover, and converting it proved challenging because it is semi-detached. We then built a second block from the foundations up at the rear of the site.
The development is about two minutes' walk from Theobalds Grove station and around ten minutes from Cheshunt station, which are on different train lines with great access to London. Every resident has private off-street parking. The finished project is a big improvement on the original and has lifted the look of the street.
The development was marketed by local estate agents Paul Wallace.
