134 Crossbrook Street, Cheshunt
A one-storey rooftop extension and a two-storey rear extension creating six flats — our second project, and home to our office.
The existing building was a Dulux paint store on the ground floor, with a yard to the rear and one flat above. We kept the whole of the existing building, adding a storey on top at the front and a two-storey extension at the rear, to create five two-bed flats and one one-bed flat. The rest of the yard became private parking and communal space for residents.
Before the work the building looked dated; today it is modern, sleek and one of the more attractive buildings on the street. It is around five minutes' walk from two stations on different train lines, with great access into London. Our office is in the ground-floor commercial unit.
The development was marketed by local estate agents Paul Wallace.
