About Us


Nash Residential's history begins in 1993 as MacDonald Egan Ltd, a property development company working on a plethora of sites scattered around the various boroughs of London. After 23 years as MacDonald Egan, we decided to start developing properties outside of London for the first time.

Now based in Hertfordshire, we wanted to start fresh and so we launched a new, separate company called Nash Residential Ltd. With this new company, new identity and new location we now take a much more hands on approach and build all of the properties ourselves. This makes us involved in projects all the way from the purchase of the land or property, gaining planning permission and then through the build and sales processes.

Meet The Team

Martin Nash

Managing Director

Martin has over 30 years of experience in construction and property. Starting as a Management Trainee with a regional main contractor in 1987 before specialising in Construction Planning and subsequently Contract/Project Management in 1993.

Martin remained in Project Management for a range of major projects for national contractors over the following fourteen years before building a scheme for MacDonald Egan in Dalston and subsequently joining the company as Development Director in 2007. Since joining the company, Martin continued on to achieve planning consent for around 1600 residential units of which MacDonald Egan constructed around 180 through several different main contractors. Locations for those projects include Walthamstow, Lewisham, New Cross & Southwark.

Robert Clarke

Director

Rob studied Project Management in Construction at Oxford Brookes University and joined MacDonald Egan as a Junior Development Manager in 2010. 10 years on, Rob spent over 5 years working as the Development Manager for MacDonald Egan and then Nash Residential, helping to over see the success for countless jobs before becoming a director of the company in early 2020.

With a keen passion and enthusiasm to continue broadening his skills, knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry. Rob is involved from the early stages of every project i.e. Due diligence, Site Acquisition, planning, and project/construction mangement all the way through to Practical Completion, handover and management of completed developments.

Marius Sirvys

Director

Marius studied Carpentry at Southgate College and began working full time as a carpenter in 2005 before launching his own Carpentry, Decorating and Building company in 2015.

Since opening his own company, Marius has worked on over 400+ projects all varying in shapes and sizes. Gaining valuable knowledge and experience in projects such as smaller one-off carpentry jobs to full property redecoration and building complete blocks of flats and houses.

Marius became a director in early 2020 and provides the company with much needed years of expertise from an area of hands-on construction so vital to the success of Nash Residential.

Finn Nash

Director of Canine Relations & Security


Finn was appointed head office dog in February 2020 and holds his role with great pride. Should any passers-by knock on our front door, to his colleagues pleasure, Finn will let everyone know.

Finn's main responsibilities within the company are taking naps, chasing his own tail and making a mess when drinking from his water bowl. Greeting his colleagues first thing in morning is always Finn's favourite part of the day.
